Oligarca - Oligarca Band
Nace a partir de la unión de un productor de música en Altvian y un diseñador (su servidor) alrededor del 2018. El mensaje tiene como base de inspiración la música experimental (como la de The Mars Volta) y agresiva (como la de Deftones), pero con el contexto de un México entre fronteras y usando antiguos poemas escritos en Náhuatl- esto con la intensión de reforzar las raíces mexica e impulsar el resurgimiento de la filosofía y cultura prehispánica.
El nombre, hace alegoría y sátira a una forma de control social y económica que recae en un grupo de personas (usualmente del mismo nivel económico) que sólo buscan el poder para enriquecerse y tener más poder- pero que de tener un pensamiento limpio, sanarían este país. La ironía del mexicano que busca el dinero para ser libre de la pobreza, pero el dinero lo vuelve a encerrar en el vicio y la corrupción. Un ciclo vicioso al cual, cuando se llega, se pierde el alma y el corazón.
Oligarca tiene canciones en inglés y español que denotan el espíritu cosmopolita de los estados en frontera con estados unidos, pero jamás prefiriendo el estilo de vida norte americano. Se aferra a sus orígenes nativos y canta al son del tambor (Huehuetl) y la trompeta (concha de mar Atecocoli) ante la guerra florida (Xochiyáoyotl) 1.
It was born from the union of a music producer in Altvian and a designer (his servant) around 2018. The message is inspired by experimental music (like that of The Mars Volta) and aggressive (like that of Deftones), but with the context of a Mexico between borders and using old poems written in Nahuatl- this with the intention of reinforcing the Mexica roots and promote the resurgence of pre-Hispanic philosophy and culture.
The name makes allegory and satire to a form of social and economic control that falls on a group of people (usually of the same economic level) who only seek power to enrich themselves and have more power - but who, if they have a clean thought, would heal this country. The irony of the Mexican who seeks money to be free from poverty, but money locks him up again in vice and corruption. A vicious cycle to which, when it arrives, the soul and the heart are lost.
Oligarca has songs in English and Spanish that denote the cosmopolitan spirit of the states on the border with the United States, but never preferring the North American way of life. He clings to his native origins and sings to the sound of the drum (Huehuetl) and the trumpet (Atecocoli sea shell) before the florid war (Xochiyáoyotl).
El sencillo debut de la banda se llama Glass Knights. Así como la antigua escritura mexicana, al hablar de una cosa, también puedes referirte a otra, ya sea complementaria u opuesta. El nombre del título se refiere a las noches de borrachera con tus amigos o uno mismo- perder el control. De como podemos encontrarnos o desconocernos- convertirnos en bestias. De encenderse en pasión o ignorar el lívido. La noche (night) es frágil. Así como el espíritu de esta generación llena de caballeros (knights) de vidrio/cristal (glass).
The band's debut single is called Glass Knights. Just like the old Mexican writing, when talking about one thing, you can also refer to another, either complementary or opposite. The title name refers to drunken nights with your friends or yourself - lose control. Of how we can meet or not know ourselves - become beasts. To ignite in passion or ignore the livid. The night is fragile. As well as the spirit of this generation full of knights of glass.
